I stayed from 7/2 thru 7/05. The hotel is beautiful; is very peaceful and quite. The staff is very attentive. Downside long wait to eat at the specialty restaurant; there’s no buffet for dinner on a daily only basis; I was very disappointed when i got to the beach and found out it was close due to seaweed season. I think it should be communicate to the customer in Advance so you’re not surprise and can make your decision before heading out.

Sanctuary is a beautiful resort. All of the staff are friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy working there. The resort is large but has a private feel with the different sections. Would definately stay there again.

The staff, the food, the amenities, the suites were top notch. It's just so relaxing there while you take in the sound of the water and hear the air go through the palm trees. The only downside was the sargassum (aka...seaweed). This prevented us from going into the water but the pools and the atmosphere made up for that. My wife and I will definitely be back when the seaweed conditions are more favorable.

Our stay at Sanctuary was excellent, the property was beautiful, with a very calming vibe. All of the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to be around. The room was beautifully designed with my favorite feature being the rainfall shower head that had digital temperature control, and also the bathtub on the balcony. A couple staff member I would like to give a shout out, we became very close with them and they were standout above the rest would have to be Felix and Oscar, both of them working poolside made sure that any need we had was taken care of. Hoping the best for them as they grow within your company. I only gave a 4 star review for the concoctions of the property because of the closure of the beach due to the seaweed. Luckily we had already spent 5 days at one of the most beautiful beaches on the island so it wasn’t a big miss for us. But for some guests could have been a big issue if they were specifically coming to enjoy the beach area in Punta Cana. It would not hurt to invest in a better barrier system for the future seaweed season. Other than that everything else at the resort was exceptional and we would love to return someday.

We had an amazing stay at Sanctuary Cap Cana, a Luxury Collection Resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of—truly exceptional service throughout our visit. The food was outstanding, with a variety of delicious options and beautifully presented dishes at every restaurant. The property itself is stunning, elegant, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The only downside was the beach during our stay—it wasn’t usable due to a large amount of seaweed and muddy water. However, the gorgeous pools and overall experience more than made up for it. We would definitely return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for luxury, comfort, and top-notch hospitality.
