So leading up to our trip in early September, I read a ton of reviews to hear about the positives and negatives. Some of the negatives include the gym, the beach, people bugging you about buying stuff, hard beds, terrible food, etc. Here was our honest experience: The property was well maintained, even for what they consider the "low season". If you don't want to be bugged at check in with the time share people, simply say no thank you to any tours or breakfasts that they are offering for free. We booked a Junior Swim Up Suite, trust me, pay the extra money and book it, you will not regret it. The room was clean, well maintained and I slept great every night, no complaints with the AC or bed. Our butler, Norieles(Nori for short) was amazing, very responsive and took care of us during our stay. The food was mostly good, our only less than pleasant experience was the French Restaurant. Our favorite was definitely El Dorado Steak House, ate there twice. No problem with kids being on the adult side of the resort. The seaweed problem during our stay was minimal, they did a good job of cleaning it up and anything in the water didn't stop us from getting in. Take the beach vendors with a grain of salt, if they offer you tours, hair braiding, pics with iguana's or parrots, just politely say no thank you, it's that easy. Down the beach less than a hundred yards are some shops that sell souveniers, liquor, cigars, etc. It's cheaper than the resort shops. Overall a great stay.

My friend caught on of the employee coming out of her room. At first he said he was fixing something but when my friend noticed her money is missing he down on his knees and started apologizing. He has an accomplished during that time. This place is unsafe and management are terrible. They were making us sign an NDA to get a refund and we didn’t sign. We want the people to know how dangerous this place is. Do not stay in this hotel! They will steal from you

We had a great stay at the hotel. Edward who was out butler during our stay was fantastic and ensured that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The food options were extensive and good. The only thing to beware is that the welcome breakfast (sales pitch for Palladium club) can waste time if you don't shut it down quickly. Aside from this everything was perfect.

The facilities are clean, but the room my wife and me stayed at had a musky smell. The Butler say he wants to bring us a dehumidifier. They never came most of the time when we get a room. There was nobody in the desk. They only want to schedule your dinners that you can do yourself in the app provided all special restaurants where really nice clean and food was above average the entertainment team was polite and energetic Luigi, Luis, Obama, Red Bull, Ann, Anthony we’re all very professional and entertaining The gym has enough equipment for the time at hotel. My wife and I will definitely recommend it and will try to come back. When we were on site, the major issue was the seagrass. It was a bad season. We noticed there are updating some of the rooms.
