Improvement is needed
Hotel design is good but the location not so good, food in the buffet restaurant need improvement especially on variety and freshness, I nktice same food being serve for lunch and dinner. Hotel staff need to be better trained in customer service and more attention shoud be focused on customer satisfaction especially in the cleanliness of bed clothing, my room pillow had a few holes and muld and not pillow case was provided ( See picture) Entertainment is not that good either, shows are not entertaining and poorly preformed. The hotel offers a few a la carte restaurant including a local food restaurant which for unknown reason was clouse on the weekend.

When I first got to the property, I noticed the balcony door did not lock. The bathroom was dirty. The sink was disgusting. The sheets were dirty. I called reception and asked them if I could have a room change or if they could at least clean the room they kept telling me somebody will come. I kept calling nobody came overall the staff was nice at the restaurant and buffet, but it was dirty.

My family and I stayed here for 4 days and the experience was not good, compared to other all inclusive we have been to. We booked “tropical deluxe” and our rooms were given at “caribe deluxe”. Yes is the same hotel but there are differences in the room and quality. Check in experience took very long and it was very disorganized! Our room had no AC, the fridge was not filled with beer multiple times, there was no water on the fridge when we arrived and no towels either. Fortunately they changed our room, but still room service was not the best when it came to giving towels and refilling the fridge. Hotel property is old, and is very neglected. The bar at the pool is very dirty, the common areas are not cleaned well after, for example tables after being used by another person. Buffet is very small for the amount of people the hotel holds, food is very limited, not many options, and we encountered several times certain items being empty and never replaced. Restaurants were way better. Food was good and costumer service was excellent in them. Pools towels would often run out and you either had to wait long to exchange them or keep the one you had used. Entertainment wast okay but not a lot to di after the show were over. The entertainment team was great too really good energy and charisma! A plus from this hotel, the beach is very very good! White and soft sands, clear waters. We had a “nice” time, we tried to but save your money and go somewhere else

They Need to add more restaurants only 3 restaurants and always full and closed few days too,they have same food as the dinning area. Limited veg options. Property is very old. Everything about this property is amazing. Unfortunately the staff needs some hospitality training on how to treat its guests. I would definitely stay here again but staff’s attitudes in general do need improvement.

Great place to relax and unwind. Nice beach, staff is very helpful, many options for breakfast/lunch/dinner. I stayed here twice and would recommend to others.

Service at restaurant was really bad, there we eat first and after eating. We asked three times for water. And they took forever. At the sport bar, we went to sit to our table and they never came to take the order so we end up leaving after 40 min. Was our first time, we were kind of testing the area, to be a first time it was ok, but I am pretty sure that could have been better if the service was not this bad. I would love go back to Punta Cana just not this resort.
