⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely outstanding stay! Desiterra exceeded every expectation. The villas are beautiful, peaceful, and impeccably maintained, with breathtaking views. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived and went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. The food was exceptional, the spa was incredibly relaxing, and the entire resort is the perfect place to unwind while still being close to everything Santorini has to offer. We made memories that will last a lifetime and can't wait to come back. Highly recommended!

The view was great but anything else was subpar. The room was small. The bathroom was very small and the shower had mold in several places. The hotel is at the old town and the taxi cannot reach it so be prepared to walk with your suitcases. At night it was very loud until 3am with music from the surrounding bars. The staff was polite and helpful.

The Grand Ambassador Santorini Hotel had the best views on the island! The staff even upgraded our room at no cost due to some maintenance issues with our original room. My Wife and I received world class customer service from the staff! We will definitely be visiting Santorini, Greece again in the future! The breakfast was phenomenal! This is what made this hotel a 5 star hotel. The facilities and surroundings were also beautiful and very clean. Amazing views and great location---walking distance to all the tourist areas and restaurants. The spa was beautiful as well. However, the actual suite was quite small and the bathroom was a 4 star at most. The rain shower head did not distribute equal amounts of water. The housekeeping staff was not very good at refilling toiletries. The white towels looked quite old. They were not soft and looked a bit greyish in colour.

Very welcoming and hospitable semi check-in process. We were provided with a welcome drink and front desk lady (Christina) provided us with a map of Santorini with key places to see and visit, as well as where to not waste our time seeing. Provided restaurant recommendations and stored our bags until it was time to check-in. When we did check-in, a different front desk lady (Maria) provided us with info on pool restaurant and upper restaurant lounge but did NOT tell us about the included breakfast and where that was located. We missed breakfast the next morning and it wasn't until I checked our reservations that I recalled the hotel had free breakfast and we had to ask Christina our 2nd morning about it and we were supposed to get a free bottle of sparkling wine with each of our rooms which was never given. Besides those 2 mishaps, the hotel is in a good location and the pool area is nice. Don't miss out on the included breakfast as it's a decent spread.
