Overall a good place to stay. Our pullout couch was in extremely poor condition, cushion and arm rest torn up. Breakfast was decent and loved the option to sit at outside tables. Was definitely inconvenient having the QC marathon people walking through the hotel and bogging up the hallways and parking lot. Not the hotels fault, but not a great plan having packet pickup at a hotel. Bar area was nice. Enjoyed the outside pool, inside was very hot and loud, so we stayed in the small outdoor area.

When we arrived we were told by reception that no king room was cleaned and therefore we would have to pay extra for a suite. Would have thought we should get the room at a king rate but front desk wouldn’t budge. Front desk said there was nowhere to eat outside looking at the river. Wrong. Restaurant 2 minute walk away had nice outside patio.

We got there a bit early having forgot the time zone change but they checked with housekeeping and although no rooms that met our reservation requirements were available one was ready within 5 mins and they also offered us an ungraded room which was very, very nice

The only downside was the hot tub in the pool area. When the jets were going, chlorine would steam excessively making our eyes burn. We informed the front desk of the situation and hopefully the issue will get resolved so it doesn't affect anyone else. Other than that, my gf and I had a blast! :)

Cool rooms, nice that there’s a lot for kids to do on the property. Pool area has a shower for people to rinse off before/after entering which I like. Ceiling above the hot tub needs some repairs but overall happy with the pool/spa area. Kids had fun! Ali checked us in and was super friendly and helpful! The hotel closed breakfast at 9:30am which is weird for a weekend but okay.
