The grounds, picturesque and super-charming, are what we enjoyed the most. Some of the outside chairs are broken, so watch out when using them. The portable AC in our room is loud. Bring ear plugs! (But happy to have AC.) Communal fridges are full; latecomers may not find room in them. The kitchen functions but needs a redo as it's quite worn. Room is serviceable but amenities are minimal. If you're not too fussy, this property will do for one or two nights.

I did not read enough before getting to this place and was very surprised when I realized we spent a night in the historical building! It is pretty far from Quebec's old city center, and there is no malls or stores, or other busy places around. But it was exactly what I love for having rest: a very beautiful, peaceful, and clean place, a very old but still cozy and nice historical building, a beautiful garden with natural surroundings. The price is reasonable. I can highly recommend! The only thing to remember: bring your own food and dishes. There is a kitchen with a coffee machine, a kettle, and a microwave, but no food and no stores around.

Parfait pour une cure de calme et de campagne

Si vous avez besoin d'une cure de calme et de campagne, vous êtes au bon endroit. L'internet est de qualité. La maison est très belle et la grande pièce commune très agréable. L'hôtesse est accueillante, et l'endroit est bien entretenu. J'y ai passé une nuit, j'avais du travail à terminer et un gros déficit de sommeil à rattraper. Il pleuvait et il faisait froid ! Ma nuit a été bonne et j'ai bien travaillé. Un point important : il faut arriver avec ses victuailles... Lait, thé, etc. La première petite épicerie est à 5 ou 6 km... Maintenant, vous le savez.

Outdoors is gorgeous….green room was ok, pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. Kitchen and dining needs work…it was convenient but seemed dirty and furniture wasn’t in great condition. There was another group who were loud and clearly unwell, a lot of coughing in the common rooms which made us uncomfortable staying those areas.
