I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at the Hilton Quebec was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others.From the moment we arrived, the service was cold and unwelcoming. The valet staff was impatient and rude. Front desk staff seemed annoyed rather than helpful, and basic requests felt like an inconvenience. For a hotel that brands itself as upscale, the customer service was shockingly poor.
The room itself was outdated and poorly maintained. Worn furniture, visible wear and tear, and cleanliness that was far below Hilton standards. The bathroom was especially disappointing — not properly cleaned and clearly overdue for a refresh. Definitely not what you expect for the price.
Noise was another major issue. Thin walls and constant hallway noise made it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Add that to uncomfortable bedding, and rest was out of the question.
Overall, this hotel relies heavily on the Hilton name and its location, but fails in almost every other area. For the cost, you can find far better accommodations in Quebec City with cleaner rooms, better service, and a much more pleasant experience. I would not stay here again.
