Great stay in a lovely location. Pool was a bit chilly but the kids didn't mind and was a welcome addition after a long day wandering around the city! Staff were fantastic and would definitely recommend!

Some minor shopping and restaurants in the direct area, but a 1 minute walk to the #1 bus to take u into town for $4 Canadian. Bring exact change on the bus! Clean hotel, but a few minutes of a proper cleaner and scrub brush in the show to get rid of the mold would be the next best thing they could do. They care enough to steam clean the carpets in the common area, so why not scrub the showers a tiny bit. Otherwise spotless. Bed not too hard or soft.

Dated but clean hotel, fine for a brief stay

Had a brief one-night stay on a family trip to Quebec. The hotel is clean but getting pretty old. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very basic but adequate.

Not worth the price

The rooms were average, found dead bug on the bedsheet, no coffee cups or tea in the room but only in the reception area. Breakfast was basic with bread and butter, fruits, yogurt but no protein or meat/sausages/oatmeal/eggs/hash brown. Asked to clean the room but they did not. Hotel is expensive and not worth the price

I chose Hotel du Nord based on the Quebec tourism site's offer of free public transportation passes when you stay two nights or more at select hotels. However, when we checked in, we were told the hotel hadn't received any of those passes. Therefore, this was an extra expense during our stay I wasn't expecting and a bit of an initial disappointment when arrived.
