Message left on door on Sunday morning at 8:00 am saying our room would not be cleaned today because we were still in our room. It’s Sunday morning! Next day we left at 8:30 am and came back at 3:30 pm and room was not cleaned. Called desk and they told me I was lucky someone was still available to clean the room.

Pool was closed and although an arrangement was in effect to use another hotel property’s pool, it was not feasible. I would rather of had a price adjustment. The alternate pool was too far of a walk to enjoy and when we went to see the pool, it was crowed and no available chairs. Disappointing after all day city walks to not have a pool and spa at the location you are staying.

Honestly the hotel exceeded my expectations. I’ve had poor experiences with other hotels but this one was not only conveniently located near the via rail but also near all the tourist attractions and restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms and bed sheets are impressively clean. They give you the option to control the heating in your room which was excellent. The water is hot. Easy to get a good nights rest after all the shopping and walking. Very happy with my stay and I plan to come back here in the future.

The only negative was the buffet this am. All the hot items offered were warm ( not hot) and some cold, therefore did not enjoy the meal. At $26 each it was a disappointment We went to Boulay for dinner on Sat and it was amazing so was expecting a good buffet.

We were offered an upgrade, which we took but the room was very small and very dark (not all the lamps were working), and we paid for a nice “view” but the windows are soooo dirty, we couldn’t see anything. Also, we paid for queen beds, but the beds were double, hallways are very dark as well, staff is a bit rude, they thought that we didn’t speak French and directly spoke to us in English and made some comments in french about the previous couple that had just checked in. We used the parking service and the valet didnt even help with our luggages. Also if you have luggages, be careful because you have to walk a lot of stairs. Overall it has great location, its not luxurious at all, restaurant is fine but you should definitely look around for better options.
