Rooms are large and clean. The toilet in the bathroom is uncomfortably higher - higher than 21 inches. I’ll spare the visual. The trash cans are placed in an awkward site such that you have to open two doors to use it. Outlet for the workday was not functioning.

Nice place. Undergoing some renovations but overall good stay. Staff very nice and polite. Noise from the motorcycles and sports cars quite noisy at night as the sound echoes! Parking is also a bit of an issue. Gorgeous city well worth visiting!!!

Loved the charm of the old stone exterior! Lobby was under renovation at the time of our stay but the staff did such a great job sectioning it off so that we never really had to be in the construction zone. Well run hotel!!

I loved the elegant bathroom, black marble and the beautiful crystal chandelier and light scones. I have never in the past had such lovely bed, sitting room and bathroom, such luxurious surroundings. The old fashioned vintage style tub added another lovely aspect to the bathroom, enjoying a soak with the provided bath salts was delighful. I felt like a queen and it was a wonderful experience. I would really like to stay at your hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Port Royal. We booked a suite because we had our teenage son with us which allowed him and us to have some privacy. We also liked the kitchen and dining area. Louise is a fabulous restaurant that is attached to the hotel. Would stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would gladly return. The location was perfect for our needs, and the service from the staff was truly exceptional. They were quick to assist with our luggage and even brought out umbrellas during a downpour, which we greatly appreciated. Traveling with a pet can be challenging, so we were especially pleased to find a pet-friendly hotel of this calibre. While the pet-friendly room did show some minor signs of wear, it didn’t detract from our experience. We absolutely loved the exposed brick and stylish decor, which gave the space a unique and inviting character. The shower could use a bit of maintenance, but overall, our stay was wonderful. We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Good location and friendly staff there are other things to consider. I was given a corner room. First of all, you can hear all the noise coming from the hallway. Walls are not much sound proof. Also there is a construction work outside of the hotel so I couldn’t get to sleep well as it was noisy 7am in the morning. The toilet constantly made noise so I had to close the bathroom door to keep it quite. I had breakfast in the restaurant. Had to wait 45 min for a breakfast plate. There was only 1 person behind the kitchen so that’s probably why.

All the staff we were in contact with were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The only concern we had was the main entrance was closed and the temporary entrance was a bit of a challenge with heavy luggage and rainy conditions - all a temporary issue we know. That does not take away from the first class staff and excellent room. We still enjoyed our stay for two nights.

The property was under construction when we were there, the room we stayed in had the garbage bin outside the window and items constantly hit the windows in the morning. The gym equipment was ancient and there wasn't much of it. The rooms were clean and a decent size. Giving most of our dissatisfaction revolved around the construction, it was a good place to.stay.
