Quaint
The room was comfortable, location very good. Obviously an historically old building and as such was a bit worn in parts.
The Male shared bathroom was very small. Otherwise we enjoyed the overnight there
Quaint property, needs more attention to detail, curtains are stained and are not blockout, could use mattress protectors.
The showers in the ladies was weak and ineffective.
It is like old fashioned pub accommodation, but is much quieter and has much better decor and comfort features. My room was clean and I had a good night's sleep.
I liked the charm of the old building and the price of the room.
What I didn’t like was -
1. Nobody to welcome us at checkin, just a text message with our room number and key
2. No comfortable lounge area that you would expect in a guest house
3. No water pressure in the female shower
4. None working smoke alarm in room
5. My husband said hello to a gentleman, not sure who he was but we think he may have been the owner. He did not introduce himself nor did he ask who we were
* I suppose you get what you pay for but I would have expected more

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Circa 1902 is a charming old hostelry with a great restaurant on the ground floor and eas angle parking out front. Daytime restrictions dont matter as you are out and about. It is central and convenient, and clean. The shared bathrooms are a bit poky but manageable. Staff are super friendly and helpful and the door is open mos tof the day. A reading light would have been a useful fitting and bedside located powerpoints. But a great stay and I will be back.
While the building has character, everything is in need of a refresh, especially the men's bathroom. I am happy to share bathroom facilities, but didn't realise it was a shared bathroom between many rooms. One toilet and a shower is not sufficient for the amount of guests staying. Room was clean, but the bed was very wonky.

This is an old building, the rooms a quite small but fine for solo accommodation, the shared bathroom was not a problem for me. it is a great location. I was in Queenscliff for the Blues Train.
Location was great and very easy self checkin and checkout. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom (shared and unisex) was clean. Saw no staff during our stay.
Upon check in, Sally the owner was there to greet us with warm & genuine enthusiasm. The rooms were large and spacious although a ceiling fan would’ve been great. The female shared bathroom were huge and recently renovated. Beds had mattress topper & I slept like a baby even in the 32 degree night. Has a cafe & restaurant with delicious offerings with avail to do room service. Even had carafes of fresh water on the landing for guests & small kitchenette if u wanted to use.right in the heart of town within walking distance to beach, jetty and rail. Would definitely recommend. Thank you, Kim barcellona
Great position but terrible room - boiling hot night with only a fan to cool room. Whilst appreciating its heritage listing, this room is not fit to rent out in its current form - also badly overpriced.

Convenient location, got what we paid for but needs air conditioning. The fan was broken and bed light (only one for double) not working. Reminded us of a backpacker's accomm.
Loved the style of an old-world Hotel, sitting outside on a balmy summer evening with my wife and other guests combined with great food and wine made for a highly enjoyable stay. Sally and Chris went out of their way to provide excellent genuine hospitality

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Liked that it was in close proximity to everything.
Our room could have been cleaner, there were moths inside.
Felt a bit uncomfortable with the shared bathroom.
Otherwise, a safe and quite place to stay and within walking distance to everything
