The staff and general manager were welcoming and remembered us each day. There were changes in a la carte/buffet breakfast served but we never felt that it was a downgrade to us or other clients. The restaurant staff were so welcoming and professional. Other restaurants in Queenstown could follow the example of the Heritage staff!

Very pleasant stay with the restaurant staff a particular standout. The cleaning staff were also outstanding as our room was beautiful attended to each day. The $15 pd parking is a bit of a turn off but a car is necessary given the hotel a little out of town.

The hotel was a bit dated and worn in places. The bed was very comfortable. I was disappointed there was no indoor pool when I asked a staff member, even thought the website stated an indoor pool and outdoor seasonal pool. The hot tub/spa was luke warm. Good carparking. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

A Pleasant Stay at the Rendezvous I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Rendezvous hotel, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and efficiency. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were incredibly helpful in answering all my questions. The room itself was well-appointed and clean. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and I appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided. Our room had a balcony and a beautiful view of the lake, which is gradually disappearing due to inadequate garden maintenance. The room was spacious and well-equipped, featuring a super-comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a delicious bar meal in the evening, which was perfectly cooked. However, the staff at the front desk were quite disorganised and not very helpful. Clearly, there are gaps in staff training and communication that need to be addressed for Heritage Hotel to meet its star status.
