The property is beautiful. Our son loved the pool. However, beware of the "kids eat free" promotion. It is only if you ask for and order off a child's menu that kids will eat free. They do not automatically give you one.

"We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a wonderful experience. The facilities were beautiful and clean, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. However, we were disappointed by an incident involving Mrs. Gabriela. We have a disabled son, and my husband informed her that he was going to work and that my son and I couldn't go to the restaurant for breakfast. As a result, he took five pieces of fruit from the buffet. Mrs. Gabriela charged us for two breakfasts to our room for taking the fruit. When we spoke to someone at the reception, they informed us that we could have ordered our breakfast through room service. The next day, we did just that, but we found Mrs. Gabriela's response lacking in empathy. Despite this incident, everything else about our stay was excellent!" "Recientemente nos hospedamos en este hotel y en general tuvimos una experiencia maravillosa. Las instalaciones estaban bonitas y limpias, la comida era deliciosa y el personal muy amable. Sin embargo, nos decepcionó un incidente que involucró a la Sra. Gabriela. I booked through Expedia. The reservation proceeded without any problem on their platform. I printed the itinerary and also received a confirmation SMS. However, when I showed up at the hotel reception, they did not want to honor my reservation. This created a big problem for me, because I was forced to look for another hotel with availability under a heavy rain. I booked through Expedia because I needed immediate accommodation, since a family member died and I immediately moved to Querétaro to attend to the emergency; After 5 hours of travel I received the unpleasant surprise of not having accommodation. I made the reservation at approximately 4:00 p.m. and I showed up at the hotel at 9:00 p.m. Honestly, both Expedia and the hotel simply distanced themselves from the problem, it's a shame. Due to this situation I did not become a client of that hotel and I hope to never book again in IGH hotels in my life, their interest in their clients is zero.

Room with a balcony, overlooking the gardens, was awesome. Unfortunately I had to check in behind a group of noisy, not paying attention, chinese. Only 2 staff behind desk, both looking after the group. 30 minutes to check in....
