Upon arrival, I was given a room on the third floor, but the elevator was broken and had luggage for three weeks. I was later told when I left early due to the conditions that a 1st floor room was available and I should have been placed there. The room smelled horrible of stale cigarettes and mold. Paint/plaster chips were on the floor and even though housekeeping came in my room, as the towels were taken, the floor was not cleaned. The towels that were present on check in had stains and multiple types of hair present on them. The flooring was unlevel and had a huge hole in it under the carpet that was a fall hazard. I ended up leaving as the bed was so poor in comfort my hips were in severe pain from sleeping on it. The free breakfast area had appliances stored in the room next to the tables, so I did not choose to try it. I left a day before my reservation as I did not want to stay longer.

The beds were clean but the overall feeling of the hotel was not very clean. We didn’t have a shower curtain which they got for us quickly. The carpets seemed very dirty, but we paid for what we’re got.

It was fine

Hotel was just okay. Didn’t have the best smell. Bed was ok. Location was nice, next to Hyvee. We just needed a place to lay our heads for one night before catching an early train the next day so we didn’t expect much. Price was good.

Never returning

The lobby was dingy. Check-in was slow only one person doing check in even though they were sold out. The elevator was out of order. Had to carry luggage up three flights. No breakfast. Limited TV channels. O premium cable channels. Went to the desk for additional towels but no one at the desk and. Nobody answered the phone. I will never return to this property again.

When we first arrived we got a room that wasn’t cleaned and smelt like smoke really bad. We’ve asked to be changed to a different room or else we’d like our money back as we had a new born. We were switched to a different room a bit cleaner and didn’t smell. There was stains on pillow cases (we brought our own pillows) We were originally suppose to stay for two night but an emergency happened and we had to come home and they refunded our money for the one night.

This inn is in prime location to nearby shops, dining and to my work. It is safe and the staff are super friendly. Only thing is that they don’t offer breakfast and the washer is broken. There are nearby laundromat and dining at walking distance. So it still worked out. Coffee was delicious.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Poor customer service at check-in -- had to wait 10 minutes while three men stood behind counter talking with each other. Tried to charge me 3.00 for a misc service charge not originally included in Hotels.com pricing--could not tell me what it was for and got upset when I refused to pay it. Did not tell me elevator was broken until after I paid -- I have knee issues and cannot walk stairs -- I told them that at reservation. Barking dogs in hallway. Musty, moldy smell in room and bed was damp. No breakfast even though advertised as part of price. Hard beds and pillows. A/C never fully cooled room. Rickety bed foundations. Fridge turned up to high but never got cold. Limited TV options. Lamp on table worked intermittently -- was told it was "just the way it is."

The bathroom was dirty. Stains all over the walls. The room smelled like weed and the smoke detector was taped with electrical tape so you know someone was trying smoke weed in the room. The hallways smelled like dog pee. The walls are paper thin and you will hear everything. I had a noisy neighbor that kept me up until 2am. The service was poor. The people that worked there looked like they didn't even want to be there. Didn't feel welcomed at all. Honestly I would say this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed at in a long time.
