Wyndham Airport Hotel is extremely convenient for the airport with a 5 minute shuttle bus to the terminals. The hotel team organised for the shuttle bus to meet us when our flight landed and they looked after our luggage as we arrived before check-in. It’s very comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful. With a 45 minute taxi to the Quito old town for $25 it’s also possible to sight see in the Capital. We had a one night stop over in Quito for connecting flights and the hotel was perfect for this.

Front desk at checking in were not helpful and THEY DO NOT TAKE EXPEDIA status into consideration. Besides being rude, dismissive, and not making any eye contact at all they claimed I did not pay in advance and had to double pay only to get a room right away. I knew Expedia was going to end up assisting once I showed the paid in full receipt which associate did not want to review when offered. On the other hand, Spot was clean there was also a Starbucks in the location and the environment was quiet and relaxing.

The restaurant was very overpriced, the food was poor, and the service was non-existent. I could not ever get a glass of water and had to wait -5 minutes to get someone to bring me the check. The hotel itself was fine.

Excellent airport hotel
I liked everything about this hotel as it relates to the airport. Close proximity and a shuttle that runs every half hour. Really clean and modern with excellent dining facilities.
