Great hotel for the price. My room had a musky odor. Since I was out of the room for the majority of the time I was in Durham, it was not a deal breaker.

Upon entering our room, it was evident that the cleaning had been rushed and incomplete. The sheets had dried bloodstains, indicating that they were not changed but just made up. Additionally, there was dirt and dust on all surfaces, so I had to wipe them down to avoid getting our clothes dirty. The dresser drawer was broken, and the kitchen backsplash was dirty. The shower walls were also covered in dirt. There were very few kitchen supplies available, such as one spoon and one knife, and the inside of the cupboards was dirty as if they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The dishwasher not only had mouse droppings in it but was also broken and missing the top rack. In addition, none of the lights in the kitchen were working, including the one above the sink in the bathroom. When we asked for extra towels we were told that there were none. Due to the business of the week with it being the State Fair, we didn't have another option for a place to stay so we basically cleaned the room ourselves, purchased disposable kitchenware and made do with what we had. If someone was to ask me if I would recommend this place I would say No! I do want to say though, the staff that we did see and communicated with were very friendly. As for the parking lot, it had great lighting and we felt very safe in the parking lot. There were a lot of good restaurants in the area and

The people working there were very nice and helpful. The room I stayed in was rundown; discolored and peeling toilet seat, cracked bath tub, rubber glove tied around the shower head, beat up cabinets.

The staff was excellent, the first room we went into the refrigerator icemaker didn’t work. The stove was busted no glasses or silverware in the room The microwave didn’t work. This room needed a lot of work. The other room they moved us to the microwave didn’t work in that one room 108 also the toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom was not there. But the staff did their best.

The staff is really friendly and nice and know there job. However, the room wasn’t as clean as it could be the sofa could use a good cleaning and the chairs could be cleaned as well other than that all is well.

Irresponsible with keeping the rooms clean. I should not have to beg for them to clean my room at least once a week. Other than that, the stay is fine and the staff is wonderful. Also out of five washing machines and dryers only two of each work properly. That makes it hard for people to efficiently get their laundry done.
