I am so unhappy with my stay here. Unfortunately, the room itself was not sanitized well, night stand was not clean and had sticky residue which I didn’t notice until placing my personal items down prior to bedtime. Additionally, the bathroom toilet also reflected a lack of detail. The furnishings in general were noticeably old and worn.
In addition to the bathrooms lack of detail, the tub was old enough for me to observe the metal underneath the porcelain, if indeed it was porcelain.
The room did not offer a microwave.
Which meant going out into the hallway to locate it. The coffee maker in the room did not work properly and shut off prior to water completing its heating.
There is a daily charge to park your vehicle, which I don’t recall mentioned when placing my reservation. Lastly, when I turned on the air conditioner the smell was so bad coming from the system. There is no mistaking the smell of dampness and mold. I was afraid to investigate further and look to see what the filter looked like or when it had last been tended to.
When I contacted the front desk to extend my checkout for noon they made certain to let me know that this was a courtesy to me and I would be charged if I was not out of the room following that time! The behavior was as though I was being done a favor! There are some additional issues I won’t even address which occurred during my checking in.
Unbelievable enough to say no thank you a 2nd time, even if room was given to me for free.
