We had booked a king size suite, but given a suite with 2 small beds not big enough for two people one of which was jammed against a window. Both beds were very soft seemed to creek when sat on. After 10 mins realised we were not going to get a good nights sleep we asked for a room that we had booked. Luckily we got it changed. Overall hotel was okay, if not a little tired in the decor. The suite had good facilities, although the tv did not work.

You gave my room away?
Late check-in was awful. Apparently, the double non-smoking room that I reserved had been given away before I arrived. The clerk told me had tried to reach me, but no missed calls or voice mail messages could be found. They only had a king room available. I agreed as long as it was non-smoking. Guess what, my room was full of cigarette smoke. The only bright spot was the maintenance man that came with a spray bottle to get the smell out of the room. He was very caring and helpful. Breakfast was average al be it a bit hard to locate everything behind weird walls and partitions. Will not stay here again.

Decent stay; overpriced
Overall the stay wasn't bad at all. However, the building could usea bit of an upgrade. There was a strong mold smell on Level 3 due to a leakage in the hallway. I thought I would have to call OSHA. It was decent to sleep but a little skeptical on the breakfast. A bit overpriced for things being outdated. The young lady at the front desk was sweet, good customer service. The Mexican restaurant beside it was good as well to try.

Homewood Suites By Hilton - Room #103 Rug was old with spots in certain places. No back stop on the handle behind the right inside door. Living Room window locks did not lock to the left. Not safe especially for first floor guests. Bedroom right window did not lock to the left. Not safe especially for first floor guests. Light on the left side wall of the bathroom was out Closet doors in the bedroom were not on track on the bottom.
