Lobby and rooms were BEAUTIFUL! Everyone at the front desk was helpful and pleasant even though they were overwhelmed being sold out and trying to cater to multiple guest needs. I was a bit leary staying in downtown Raleigh again after a bad experience last month with The Residence Inn 616 Salisbury Street down town. I’m glad we decided on the Raleigh Marriott Center. 5 STARS! I will definitely stay there again.

Good hotel but staff could be better trained

The hotel is well appointed and is in a great location, in the heart of downtown Raleigh. We could easily walk to places like Morgan Street Food Hall and the Videri Chocolate Factory. The only drawback was the front desk staff. Something was wrong with the computer and check-in took a while. Bothe the front desk clerk and her manager weren’t rude but they seemed a bit hapless. We had to go back down to run the credit card one more time. Also, when I called to ask when the construction noise in a nearby room would stop, the same clerk said she didn’t know because mine was the first complaint she was receiving about it. She said she would find out and call me back, but she never did.
