We had a pleasant stay. You need a car to reach this hotel but it is quiet and just a couple of minute drive from the nearest town Rivets, which sees to offer plenty of nice place to eat.

In one word - Perfect. This Chateau is possibly the most beautiful place that we have stayed. We originally booked for the Roosevelt in the town, but the hotel was so poor we had to walk away. We booked this last minute, and when we arrived, the owner was rushing around to get our room ready. Her hospitality was amazing. She allowed us to help ourselves in her bar and then took us to our room when it was ready. The room was absolutely stunning, a huge king sized bed with views over the river. The highlight being the massive bath tub which was more like a swimming pool. Absolute luxury. As there were no taxi's, the owner offered to take us into town to our restaurant that we had previously booked and wouldn't accept any money for her trouble. Overall, this small Chateau is exceptional in both quality and hospitality. Our stay here was by far the best experience of our trip, and we will definitely be visiting again. In our opinion a ÂŁ300 a night room for a third of the price.

Lovely chateau in quiet location

Beautiful room, newly fitted large bathroom, comfortable bed. Grounds overlooking Meuse River, with decked terrace to enjoy drink (honesty bar). Helpful family run this relaxing hotel. Breakfast is excellent.
