Room was clean. Area was fairly remote, but on someone's farm, which was fine with us. I think the weather hindered our stay. It was rainy cold and extremely windy, so we couldn't enjoy the outdoors which was why we wanted to stay there. The wind blew all night long, you could hear it in the main space but was very quiet in the bedroom. The weather wasn't the fault of the location. So all in all we were happy, warm, and safe.

Loved this quiet cabin! Can see seljalandfoss in the distance. Would’ve been a great spot for aurora viewing, though we had a very cloudy night. Small kitchenette for any cooking you need, but we enjoyed dinner nearby at Hygge. Would stay again!

This location is remote, however PERFECT if you are making a day trip to the Westman Islands as it's only 15 minutes from the ferry terminal. It was a perfect place for us to land after a day in the south enjoying the iceberg lagoons, and easy to get up and get to the ferry for a morning ride to the Westmans. Very peaceful. A little tight for a family of 4, but well appointed and very clean. I would recommend!

One of the best guest house i have ever stayed..surrounding by nature. Very clean. Small but verty functioning. I wish i could stay longer. If we ever visit iceland again, we wil surely book the Bru guesthouse again!

Clean property with beautiful view and good location for hitting the Golden circle route. Overall reasonably priced versus hotel options in the area. If going with a family of over two, space will feel a bit cramped. Just going in with that awareness will make it a better experience.

Bru Guesthouse was everything we wanted in this trip. A quiet cozy little cottage with a view of the Icelandic countryside with the beautiful Gljúfrabúi waterfall in the distance.
