At $700 a night I would expect an awesome breakfast The toaster well didn’t toast even at max and put the bread twice The price is for 5* Hótel and this is at best a 3* Just location works for this place

Room was updated and modern and kept very clean. Breakfast was nice and very easy to get with plenty of seating available. Staff was friendly. The hotel was in good shape however the additional cottages on the property looked in rough shape on the outside and were in desperate need of some yard maintenance. One or two people with a weed trimmer and some paint could make a big improvement in 1 weekend.

Basic room but great views & decent food
Really basic accommodation, not even a kettle. But views of Skógafoss waterfall, access to decent lively bar & restaurant. Decent breakfast included, again very isolated with no options to wander. Very expensive at £280 per night, but this is Iceland & hotels are in very short supply, especially at this time of year.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It’s right by the Skogafoss waterfall - like a 1 minute walk. We had two rooms for two nights. One room was very large. Both rooms had high ceilings. The restaurant was good for dinner.

Everything is good except the bathroom, there is no counter top or towel bar for put clothes or clean towels, all the clean towels is stored in above the toilet.
