The Garage was my favorite accommodation. The property is beautiful with a waterfall, horses, water views, and two adorable dogs. The family that runs it are so gracious and nice. They had baked goods and drinks in the common room. Our room has a full kitchen with tea and coffee. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Quiet location right next to ring road. Farm style stay. Close to all the attractions in south Iceland. Close to Faxi bakery (a local gem). Will stay here again

Anne was a great host. Fresh baked goods every day. Room very comfortable, large bathroom, room stocked with coffee and tea, acess toanything else you needed from kitchen. Scenery was beautiful and there were lots of games available to play. Would definitely stay there again.
I loved my stay at the Garage. The host provided very helpful information about their property, specifically about their location, access to markets, and nearby restaurants. The property is located in front of a lake with waterfalls located right behind. They also have food available for you to to cook in your room, in case you are missing some ingredients. The accomodation itself was spacious and clean. It truly was a magical experience being able to enjoy the natural beauty of Iceland.
Absolutely gorgeous location, right on Rt. 1. Not too many food options nearby, but included kitchenette helps. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hot tub is a huge plus. Highly recommended.

Great location, superb communication before and during our stay, very friendly and he.pful.
This was the best place we stayed in all of Iceland! The property is absolutely beautiful! We spent every morning on the patio drinking our coffee and watching the horses. The common area was stocked with games and books and a fresh baked treat every day we were there. The room was huge and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the property was nice and quiet. This guesthouse was an incredible value. I very highly recommend.
This was hands-down, our favorite property. The waterfalls behind the property were gorgeous the dogs were super friendly, and then the comfort of the property felt like home. They had fresh cookies and lettuce for salad when we arrived and the little kitchen area where we could use products and was amazing. So relaxing. Would definitely book again.
Beautiful property with sheep, horses, dogs. Lovely rooms with great views. When you walk in to reception, you are met with the smell of freshly baked cookies. These cookies are delicious. Quite the welcome!

I cannot compliment the owners of The Garage enough for their thoughtful interior design, high quality amenities provided throughout the stay, and warm reception! The landscape and farm setup are gorgeous, we strongly recommend this as one of the nicest places on the south coast of Iceland.
This is the most beautiful rental we stayed in. You can see the mountains with waterfalls in the back and the front faces the lake. The place is impeccable. The host is also very accomodatng with our early checkin. Highly recommended if you plan to stay in this area.
