Wel starting out with check in. Not a good feeling when told do not park in the back lot they have people walking through (don't get me wrong I am glad I was told, just not happy they have not addressed issue in another way) and that we were made to feel as thieves. Stating we grab a $100.00 temp hold to ensure all towels are still there when you leave. Hate to say it but we were not interested in worn and frayed towels to take home. Continental breakfast has a lot to be desired, not much available and only hot item had to be requested from the desk. Asked for 2 sandwiches and was asked why, had to explain that one for me one for my son. So I guess if I had wanted 2 for me I would have been told no. The pool is pretty but not heated as was indicated. Toilet in our room barely flushed and was always a double flush to get TP down. WiFI in the room was like 1980's dial up. Wifi in sitting area close to front desk was fast and good. Not how secure the network is. Room was clean on the surface, but needed deep clean. Across the hall where a couple of our kids stayed, they found old blood stains on one of their pillows. Could be a good hotel, ratings have been dropping, when I booked early in the year it was over 4 stars, when we arrived it had dropped into the mid to low 3's. Felt like owners are cutting their way to closure

Scheduling our stay (1 night) online, months in advance, seemed good at the time, except "having my credit card charged at the time of reservation", but, that didn't really present a problem at the time. When we checked in, ONLY THEN was I told about an additional $100 deposit, charged to my card, but that I'd get that back when we checked out. Not the case! When we turned in our keys, I asked for a printout to show my $100 credit on that "surprise" extra deposit. I was told $10 is deducted for a fee that she said was all on the webpage where I made the reservation. And, when I challenged this, she became quite unpleasant. Bottom line is, 'the world does NOT like "hidden fees", -myself included. --$10 does not make or break me, but, I'll share your poor business practice with everyone I know. Not a good plan to use on honest people.

The place is lovely but needs attention to service
A few things: the initial odor from the cleaning products is unpleasant; the way the beds are made requires you to practically unmake them to get to the top sheet and accompanying covers. There seems to be some confusion about payment. We were unable to get a receipt from the hotel as they claimed Hotels.com would send an email today (which we have not received-). Apparently there is a $10 service fee which the hotel tacks on because we used a third party booking agent. Also there was a $100 deposit required. As I am on a vacation staying in hotels with unsecured WiFi, I am unable to access my credit card company to check about these charges. Receiving a receipt at checkout would likely resolve this problem. And finally, when we arrived around 7 pm, there was a sign that said “Be back in 15 minutes.” 15 minutes from when? We, along with two other guests, waited 20 minutes with no sight of the receptionist. (We left to eat supper.). There was no one at the desk this morning as well although I saw one guest standing there hoping for help. The breakfast was a choice of 5 cereals and a few refrigerated items. No gluten-free options or fresh fruit.

These people required a $80 cash fee (in addition to the cost of the room) that was supposed to be returned in the morning if the room was undamaged. They said and published that the office would be open at 8AM to receive the refund but did not open the office until sometime after 8:30am when we could wait no longer and needed to leave to stay on our schedule. It seemed like a scam to effectively double the cost of the room.

A good place to overnight on our cross country road trip. Room was comfortable and clean. Air conditioning was OK. Pool looked nice but we didn't use it. Staff was friendly. Easy access to the interstate. Would stay here again if driving through.

Overall not a bad stay. Been on the road for a month and this is not the worst we have stayed at. The condition of the carpet in room 131 does need some attention and to be cleaned. Carpets are old. There was an area on wall behind head board of bed that needs to be painted as something either broke or was removed and the wall never fixed after. All appliances did work. It’s just the appearance is of a well worn older hotel. Having to ask for the breakfast sandwich at the check in desk was odd, but then theft may be an issue. If you use a third party to book you are charged a 10$ processing fee upon check out.

The hotel was okay. The caret in the room was disgusting and we did not dare go without shoes. The free breakfast was cereal, toast and coffee. No juice or tea. The pool and pool area was nice. Location was convenient for us.

Loved the poolside room and easy access for the kids. Room was clean, front desk was courtesy. Would stay here again.
