Clean, quiet, and great location! Great stay!

Check-in was a breeze, and the staff was helpful and accommodating of our needs. The room was clean and the bedding fresh, the bathroom and towels were bright and white, and the room was spacious for two. The location was convenient to the airport and to Mount Rushmore, and had good hiking nearby. All-in-all, an excellent stay! Good job, Rockerville Lodge and Cabins!

Great bungalow in the perfect location!

Enjoyed a three night stay in a bungalow. Great location as it was 20 minutes to Mt Rushmore and 20 minutes to Rapid City. Restaurant and Saloon across the street with live music at night. Fire pit area was also a big hit with the kids as well as the small playground. Area was safe and well kept. The bungalow while cozy was a great value and the hosts were helpful, funny, and accommodating. Simple continental breakfast, the brownies were a huge hit. Overall, loved the spot and would definitely recommend while visiting the area.

We loved our stay here. The rate was very affordable, yet the room was still very nice - clean and pleasant smelling; full kitchen and full size fridge; ceiling heater in the bathroom; two large, clean, and comfortable beds; and a somewhat rustic look. It's only about a 10-15 minute drive to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer State Park from here, so it's conveniently located. The staff was also very friendly. The only slight negatives are that the office is located across the one-way highway, so getting to and from is somewhat difficult (merging, crossing two lanes of traffic and turning >90 degrees within about 200 feet), and the breakfast is limited to coffee, bread, English muffins, two fruit (bananas and oranges), and cereal (i.e., nothing cooked); however, what is available is fresh and tastes good. If the limited breakfast keeps the cost down, I'll take it. The lounge area where breakfast is located is rustic and comfortable too. Overall a great facility.
