At first I was disappointed that our room was right next to and sort of behind the elevator, I thought there'd be noise all night, but, I was wrong. The walls must be insulated very well - there was no noise at all, never heard the elevator! It was a very quiet stay...and the breakfast was very nice!

I really liked this location, it had a McDonald's in next property over. Was an Arby's across the street. Very large room, more than I needed by myself. I regret not using the hot tub and pool. The traffic nearby was very noisy around 10 pm on a Thursday night, like people were cruising. Around 11 pm, it was super quiet though. Definitely worth staying again.

Great location
We stayed at the Sleep Inn for 5 days. The location was perfect to see and do everything in Rapid City. Housekeeping is only available on request, but the staff gladly gave us coffee, cups, and towels as needed. We did have them come in one day and clean, which was nice. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was large, but could have used a fan. There also should be a nother bar or a shelf in the tub area. The shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were very nice. I liked having a bar of soap by the sink. Breakfast had a nice variety and the lady who worked there kept it well stocked and clean. We didn't use the pool or hot tub, because it wasn't appealing and the hottub was small. Overall we were very pleased, especially with the location. This is petty, but it bothered me that the lampshades had the seams in the front, not the back. Also there was dust on the back of the bed lamp, and dust on top of the microwave and refrigerator.

Nice, clean and comfortable room with great personal touches... plenty of shampoo, great towels, marvelous beds. The breakfast was very good, with lots of variety, including several hot options. The only negative comment would be that the people above us were very easy to hear as they moved about their room, which made it difficult to fall asleep.

AC unit so old it could vote
Check in was quick, bed was comfortable, but our room could really use a new AC unit. It was so loud, it woke everyone up every time it kicked on all night long. So annoying I was almost thankful we had to check out at 4am for a flight home.
