Property was affordable, close to restaurants/shopping, good breakfast selection, and easy access to interstate. Unfortunately, I picked up bed bug bites. I did contact the hotel when I got home, and they did assure me they’d take care of it for the health/safety of future guests.

Check in was quick. Walked into the room and was overwhelmed by the smell of sewer gas. I tried to get a different room but desk person said they were full. Judging by the abundance of parking spaces available, I found that hard to believe. So we stayed in our room and the desk woman handed me a bottle of something, (which it took her 10 minutes to find) to knock the smell down. It did not work well. After looking around the room, I found a pair of dirty socks behind the chair. That didn't help. It could not have been vacuumed very well, as there was alot of stuff on the carpet. The bathroom floor was full of hair, also. I ended up covering all the drains with damp towels to try to block the sewer gas, which did help some. The breakfast was good, though. I'm not very picky when it comes to hotel rooms, but this one was kind of nasty.

It was clean except for the pull out couch. We needed it for the kids and when we opened it, there was crumbs, wrapped and chalk inside the mattress. That was pretty gross.
