Excellent short stay at the Edgewater with our 3 year old. Spent most of the time in the pool where our toddler made lots of friends with other kids. Stunning spot to enjoy the sunset. Breakfast was basic but adequate (cereals, breads, fruit) but chaotic and busy. More of a party atmosphere than elsewhere but very enjoyable still.

Our sea view room was perfectly positioned to make the most of the iconic Fijian sunsets. The staff were lovely-very approachable and friendly and always willing to help. The daily continental breakfasts were good. Our room and bathroom were a little tired looking-a lick of paint and a bit of modernising would do wonders. Overall, we were happy. Thanks for the stay.

Was a little disappointed to get an upstairs room after requesting a ground floor room. This appears to be a communication error between expedia and the resort. Really enjoyed our stay. This was our second visit and is the place to stay if you just want to relax. Staff are great, friendly and always smiling. Betty was just the best. Her service was outstanding. Betty always had a genuine smile and always made time for a bit of a chat. Would highly recommend.

OK and confidently located close to the airport which was good for a late night arrival. Breakfast the next morning was a fiasco with queues lined up for the high sugar content “free” breakfast. While a la carte was available, which we used, it would be good to see some slow carbs and/or protien foods available as well. 3.5% card transaction fee needs to disappear. It is not charged at many other establishments and will shortly be illegal in NZ as it is in Australia today.

By no means luxury

Curtains are so light they let in all the light. Paired with screaming chickens doesn’t make for a great nights sleep. A lot of the staff seemed miserable as well which showed. At the end of the day it does the job but wouldn’t stay again.
