Staff were very courteous. Room is very compact, which is fine, but our room was at the front so the sound of the traffic was very loud, the windows aren't very soundproofed and a little draughty. The room could do with a little TLC but actually it was excellent value for money, we paid £57

It was good for a short term quick trip. Clean comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom. Friendly staff and 24 hr check in and reception service was great. The room is a bit small with next door noise. You might struggle if you’re a light sleeper but I wasn’t bothered.

Been meaning to stay at this hotel in a while , finally we gave it a go. Considering it’s half the price of all the other hotels on this weekend , I would certainly be back. Very quick check in , clean rooms and a good sized bed. Great work !

Frequent stayer at this budget hotel, when the price is right. Marks deducted for shower cubicle didn’t close together properly (room 17) so had to mop up bathroom floor afterwards. Shower cubicles are cleaned from the outside, but once you pull the partition doors together, it’s caked in black and mould down the bottom. Not problematic, just not a good look. Like to see large recycling bin in reception, like Travelodge do. Certainly be back.

The service was excellent with the lady being very helpful. The type of mattress was a bit hard on the body though. Woke up with my joints hurting. Apart from this the rest of the experience was top notch from checking in to checking out.

Worst hotel ever stayed in. No staff present on check in so it took 20 mins before found member of staff to check in. Room with no windows are tiny and the air conditioning is controlled at reception not in the room. It was a sweat box with no windows and no space. I would advise you spend the extra money and get nicer hotel.

Good value clean comfortable and convenient

Located within a few minutes walk of the town centre and train station, and across the road from a small parade of shops including several restaurants and take away outlets and a selection of convenience stores. On several visits my room has always been clean comfortable and well maintained and all the staff have been courteous friendly and professional and have good local knowledge of the area. Excellent value would recommend without hesitation
