The room itself was great, very clean and well maintained. Staff seemed overworked and were rather curt. Diverse neighbourhood. Limited parking in the area - lots of construction. Not much open later in the evening in terms of grocery stores or restaurants.

Easy on-line check-in, friendly greeting by reception staff, spacious and comfortable bed and ideal bathroom facilities. Excellent breakfast, and more friendly service from the breakfast room ‘host’; a far better experience than many ‘superior’ hotels we’ve stayed at. Hotel well-situated for shops, restaurant, bars and public transport.

Great location

Room was small but ok for the two of us, bed comfy, very quiet even tho it’s right next to a lot of pubs. Location excellent for train station and parking very close for only £7 for 24hours. Using the room card everytime you use the lift was very annoying.

The hotel was ok generally, but if you wanted to be in your room from 14.00 to 16.00 then you wouldn't get your room serviced. All other times was reserved for departing guests. 3 days later, mine wasn't cleaned, no change of towels, no extra toilet paper no more coffee milk or sugar. Trying to get the lift to work was abnormally difficult for everyone. Do not go.

The floors are laminate so you will hear the people upstairs walking about. You will also hear the people next door coming back at 2am and turning on their tv. Room basic but ok but not good for a decent night's sleep

Very convenient & central to trains/ restaurants etc. a Although no car parking on site, hotel has good discounted car parking nearby- but not so easy to find if you are unfamiliar with area. Pleased to have good double glazing against the raucous noise from revellers that goes on into early hours of the morning. Reception staff most helpful.

Brilliant location and staff

So close for the station and city centre. Was buzzing outside with bars and clubs, but silent in the hotel. Clean and fresh, feels new. Staff really friendly!

Shocking

The AC was making such a noise it kept me awake, the shower room was dirty, and when I started to use the towel noticed it was filthy. When I booked in at the front desk, the lady was rude and very unhelpful. Shocking really as I have normally had great stays at IBIS hotels
