Cozy and magical

We checked in after midnight and the woman at the desk was so friendly. The room was clean and the bed and pillow were so comfortable. I haven't been that comfortable sleeping in a long time.The story about the inn that was left on the table was cool to read and my grandfathers surname was in it and made me wonder if it was my family they were talking about.

We were a little skeptical when we first drove in the lot but the entry way was beautiful and the staff were so welcoming. The lobby area is beautiful and their morning coffee was hot and fresh, with a decent spread. The beds were a little more firm than expected but we still slept great, the ac was ice cold and the showers were hot. I’m typically a hotel gal and it was my first inn but I’d stay here again!

The staff was fine. Property is old, it desperately needs updates. Shower water smelled bad, little back up of water, wasn't draining well. The AC made very loud scratching noises every few minutes. Otherwise clean.

Such a charming, wonderful place to stay! It was beautiful in the lobby, and the staff were so nice. I would definitely go back if I’m traveling to Asbury Park again.

There was a horrible smell specifically from the bathroom sink water, as well as in the shower. The WiFi also did not extend to the room, despite it being close to the front desk.
