Room was great, all staff was nice and accommodating except for one. I do not know the woman's name as she did not greet us upon arrival or after our contact. Upon initial arrival at approximately 12pm as I stated she did not greet us I just said hello we're here to check in and she stated rooms weren't available with no explanation so I thought it was a light hearted joke and smiled and explained I had a reservation, she stated she understood that but rooms aren't available for check in yet and wouldn't be until 3pm( now that it was explained I understood and that wasn't a big deal), I asked if my girlfriend could be the person to check in later as I would not be available, this woman took my girlfriends name down and said come back with a credit card to put on file and nothing else so we left to return later. I am not one to ever leave a review if I'm being honest, but as someone who's worked in customer service for almost 20 years I was surprised at how dismissive and fairly unpleasant this idividual was to two new patrons coming into her establishment. I would understand if we had been unpleasant or difficult to deal with but there was barely any interaction. Anyway, great stay otherwise I would definitely return, thank you for a great stay.

Good location. Dog fee for 1 night was $125 when I was quoted it would be $75 by a hotel representative by phone. The policy is clearly stated as $125 so perhaps a new person answered the phone. Regardless $125 plus tax is a little excessive.

No refund

Although I tried many times to contact support services for any type of refund - I did not receive anything. We were unable to go on this trip and I even bought the insurance. Hotels.com just stopped replying to me or giving me any option for any type of refund. I ended up paying $250 and couldn't even go. I will not be using this service again which is unfortunate because I was a loyal customer but the customer service absolutely failed me as well as the added insurance which did nothing.

Great Staff

I enjoyed my stay as I usually do at the Hampton Inn. There was an issue where the electricity had to be turned off for about an hour but we just went out to eat and by the time we came back it was back on. The staff did well with communicating what would be happening and when it was back on. I appreciated the staff checking in periodically to see if everything is going well. The bed was comfortable. The pool was nice and clean. The breakfast was good and provided variety.
