It is clearly an old hotel that has had some upgrades. The hallways have a smoking section door but it is non smoking. My room also smells like smoke. It’s a nicely laid out room but the smell is overwhelming.

It's leaky

When i left the room on my first morning the ceiling outside my hotel room door had collapsed. There was debris and water everywhere. I told front desk while i went to breakfast, they took a photo of the photo on my phone and said oh wow. No apologies, was i ok was i wet, would i like a new room? Told me they would tell management. Cool. I get back in the evening and there's a bucket full of water outside my hotel room door and still water being splashed everywhere. I went down and found Ryan at the front desk. He laughed when i heard about the bucket and apologized. I said "maybe the hotel should fix a giant leak?" And "maybe i could get a different room?" Ryan got me a new room. It's innappropriate to me that front desk, maintenance, management, housekeeping, etc heard about the condition of my stay and no one offered me any solutions. I had to ask for a new room to stay dry. I understand that it's not easy to fix a roof, but there were some easy wins to jeep hospitality top of mind

We arrived roughly at 3:40 pm, we had to wait for the room no big deal. There is a sign saying check in at 3 pm. ( probably should be removed on line says check in 4 pm). The TV didn't work in either room, we told front desk around 5 and said maintenance was not in. So we wait for the next day , they fix the living room, not the bedroom. We call again and the chrome cast had to be replaced in the bedroom. It worked for the night then never again. The mattress was terrible it had sunken in on left and right side of the mattress. We could only sleep in the middle not one good night sleep. We had 1 plate , no forks, just spoons and a knife, for the 2 of us. No towels to dry. The fridge is way to small, not ideal and it keep freezing everything inside. The receptionist should tell you that you need to use the key card in the elevator to get to your floor. Many people we talked to never new and ended up in the basement. The best part of the stay was the breakfast, a little different every morning. The ladies were nice.

The Hotel is great, beautiful rooms and an amazing price. Room service food is subpar, but thats every food at every hotel. Breakfast was great, pool was great for the kids, (i wish they had a different system though because you cant take the towels out so end up leaving dripping wet if you didnt bring a change of clothes) the gym was aqesome and staff was exce0tionally nice! We will definitely stay here again.

Incredible staff!

Every staff interaction was great- from Guest Services to breakfast, housekeeping right to Maintenance... who we unfortunately met at not long after checking in after 10pm following a sports tournament. The shower was miserable- diverter functioned poorly resulting in low pressure. The biggest issue was the handle was completely stripped, resulting in one mediocre shower with no temperature control (cool to icy were the options!) Followed by not turning off as the last tenuous grip gave up entirely. By pure chance 2 gents from Maintenance happened to be there and came up to perform an emergency fix as it was after 11pm. Facilities are mixed bag- pool is shallow, 3ft all across which is great for younger kids, with an ill fitting liner and showing the need for some repair. Hot tub was very hot, with metal edged steps that sliced the bottom of my toe open. Breakfast was good, sufficient options and the staff amazing.
