We decided last minute to go to Red Deer for the RV show so needed a hotel room for two nights. While we're often in town overnight for doctor's appointments we're rarely there for leisure so wanted to pick something different, but inexpensive.
We chose a jacuzzi suite and couldn't have been happier. The room was basic, but clean. The full kitchen was a bonus to keep the costs down. The tub is actually big enough for two people - such a rarity!
Breakfast is very basic, nothing hot, but you can get enough to get you through to lunch. If toast, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, and the like is not what you want, it's a walk across the street to a McDonald's.
We were there two nights and three days and at all times the staff was courteous and friendly.
The only thing that I could point out to be lacking was there's no hair drier in the room. On our first day it was -22 and you don't want to be going out with wet hair! Luckily it warmed up to above zero after that, however it still had me going out for the day with wet hair.
We've certainly got a new location to consider staying at the next time that we're in town. The stay was enjoyable and the cost was unbeatable.
