Driving in from Melbourne CBD, we were a little early for check-in. Yet within minutes on arrival, we were made to feel as if long-time family friends warmly welcomed "home" by the front reception. It confirmed our first impressions just minutes before as we came through the long driveway, getting glimpses of the sweeping vineyard landscape, well manicured grounds and the elegant spacious structure of the property. Received a nice surprise that we had been upgraded to a balcony room! We took full advantage the balcony to have our own private party for 2 with local cheese and Lindenderry's own wines, while enjoying the cool temperatures with sunlight streaming through the canopy of trees - gorgeous! Everything in the room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. The hotel's interior had many sitting rooms of various sizes, each beautifully appointed and inviting. Breakfast options included cooked-to-order hot meals, in addition to the usual array. Due to the winter season, dinner at the hotel was only available on 1 night at The Dining Room. The top notch meal was exquisite and highly recommended; reservations are necessary. Aside from being a great base to visit Redhill, what elevates this place is the service level of the current team who really take good care of the guests. Special shout out to James Perkins (GM), Lizzie (reception), Matteo (The Dining Room)! It was a fantastic stay and we will want to come back here. Thanks to all at Lindenderry Red Hill !
