The staff at the Red Rock were absolutely amazing - they made me feel like family and welcomed me with open arms. The view was stunning, and the food at the lodge was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be recommending this place to all my friends, and I can't wait to return. I'm especially looking forward to seeing it once all the renovations are complete!

Red Rock Review

Looks funky and ramshackle but the rooms are clean and in good repair, Plenty of hot water. Linens are clean and fresh. Quiet. Picturesque.

Located besides a lake, very quiet environment. The hotel is like a museum, full of story and history. Very unique. Just a bit too old. Old carpet, old windows, old furnitures.

Help this beauty out owners!

This inn is a diamond in the rough. The innkeeper Don is a delight but it is shameful to let this beautiful historic site decay. I would love to see the porch repaired with new furniture and the whole outside could use paint and new windows. Otherwise it was quiet, comfort able and the bathrooms were modern. I don't need TV so I never missed it.

Wonderfully unique

What a wonderful gem. So much history in this place. Incredibly unique. Host was friendly, and lots of fun. Room was spacious and comfortable. And every corner of the property had interesting, unique things to see. Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the neighborhood.

Great for a night. Would stay here again. In fact, we did on our way back. Donnie is a beauty, but you have to be careful or he can talk your ear off with stories (part of the reason we returned). If you want a posh hotel, carry on, but if you want a quaint, vintage and authentic stay, come here.

We were warmly welcomed by Don, the owner of this "gotta stay to believe" inn. The room was warm and cozy, like a hug. The property itself is a walk back in time. But, you've got to spend a little time with Don. Warm, charming, witty, smart, a little eccentric (in the best way), you'll love him!
