The staff is always very friendly and will wait for you if you’re coming in late from travel. I often stay here on my trek back and forth from the west. Really enjoy the rustic feel to the rooms with your own fireplace.

The property is a wood frame Inn/Hotel from the very beginning of the 1900's. It has a lot of character in a good way. The staff were cheerful and competent. I enjoyed the breakfast choices provided.

Vintage hotel with lots of character but clearly in need of major renovation (interesting to walk through). Room was clean & adequate. Great for a single night if just passing through but not for everyone. Helpful & friendly staff. Very limited options nearby for food.

We arrived very late for our stay (10pm) and the woman at the desk, Espy, was so lovely to us and even asked us if we had eaten yet. We told her, yes, but if we hadn't, I think she would have got us a bite to eat!

We made a short stay with the family. The tenant was very helpful and friendly. This is a 1937 construction and it would need some love and major cleaning (stains on walls and carpets). This Beijing said, we really enjoyed our stay by using the games in the basement (pool tables, baby foot table, ping pong and more) and looking at old artifacts in the place. The breakfast was great in the huge reception room that we had for ourselves.

This place is in a quiet, beautiful location overlooking a lake in the distance. The building is going to be renovated, but the rooms are clean and our room was renovated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet had numerous cold options. Had an overnight and would go there again, especially after it's renovated.

The entire property is quite old and tired. But it was quaint and the room was very clean. We sat out on the porch and enjoyed the view. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was nice. A good variety of muffins fruit cereal yogurt and lots of coffee. The lady at the front desk was very kind and helpful. As was the attendant at breakfast. I would certainly would book again.

This is an old historical hotel. I stayed 3 nights. It is proof that you cannot judge a book by its cover. First impressions, judging from the peeling paint and stained carpets, are that it may not be okay. However the room was clean and bright and had a fully equipped modern bathroom. The common areas have been well looked after. Breakfast was simple but white table cloths always add class. Staff were great.

The website promised Wifi but it inly worked in the entrance not in our room. The shower had some standing water on its floor so we did not use it. The chairs in the restaurant were so old they had a permanent depression in the seat. The area was beautiful and quiet. The manager was very pleasant and helpful
