Overall, the stay was good. Some "sketchy" people outside the back parking lot, swearing at each other around 2:45am. Probably homeless. When we first booked, we thought it was the location closer to Shasta Lake, near the Fairfield Hotel/Motel. Nothing wrong with our stay over all and the price was right. We did bring our 3 mini schnauzers. No mess, Dogs were very good, took them out before we went to sleep around 11pm and had them up at 5:50am again.

No air conditioning. Extremely hot. Receptionist said nothing they can do and to “let it kick in”. Room never cooled. Waited for another receptionist who kind and was able to empathize. Waiting of full refund.

The hotel is older and can do with an upgrade, however the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and very accommodating. We would stay there again

Room was very dirty, there was a beetle in the bathroom, earwig in the room, dead flies and cigarette butts (non smoking room) in the window sill. We only had 3 mismatched bath towels for the 4 of us. No hand towels or wash clothes. Carpet was very stained and there were food crumbs in the drawers. Hot tub was not in working order. Bed was at least comfortable.

Someone else’s beer can found in or our room so the attention to cleaning was questionable. Air conditioning did not work well. Asked for enough towels for the three of us, since there were not enough initially supplies and were told there were no facecloths or hand towels available. The corners in the bathtub and bathroom were dirty and mouldy.

Don’t stay here

We would not stay at this property ever again. When we checked in and got to our room there was no toilet paper or towels. I went downstairs and asked for both and was told there were no towels! They finally did give us some floor mat towels. Then we went to put some drinks in the fridge and there was leftover chicken and tortillas from previous guests. The room was not even remotely clean either. Be warned about this property!

Good to Great - Service (when vending machine didn't work, helped out; was polite when told about plugged up sink in room), swimming pool, breakfast, location. Fair to Poor - plugged up sink (could loosen plug in sink; had to brush teeth in bathtub), TV service without instructions and difficult to access; when figured out took a LONG time to load..., spa not working and full of what appeared to be algae. No notice spa unavailable when reserving.

Think twice. If you absolutly ne a bed and a roof.

The place is in bad condition. Our floor was super stained with bright colors and gross old stains. One set of sheets were stained and dirty. We had brought spare sheets for a future location but had to use them here. The room also had no towels. We had to ask for towels to be brought up. They brought the bare minimum to us. We will not return.

Room was hot when entered so turned AC on to cool room & after several minutes of barely cool air still blowing, took filter out to check & it was extremely dirty preventing good/cool air from coming out. Washed it out in bathtub & AC has worked great since. Remote to TV doesn’t work so that was a small inconvenience. Went to put drinks in fridge & it was almost warm inside with dial turned to full cooling. It was completely frozen over needing to be turned off to defrost. Making me wait almost entire night to have drinks put in. Room was very quiet & clean. Staff was awesome.

This was an average stop on a busy weekend. The room was a good size but needed to be renovated. The breakfast room was small and had quite a few homeless people collecting large amounts of food.

It was just okay

When we first walked in to the hotel it looked nice, the staff was very friendly. The hotel room is a good size which we liked, but the first thing we noticed was the smell when we opened the door. It was a musty , dewey smell, it did not smell clean and fresh when we walked in. I luckily come with a few cleaning supplies when we go anywhere. I had to clean the toilet and sink area when we first arrived. There were no towels at all, we had to go ask for some. We were not the only ones that had to ask for towels we saw multiple rooms have to ask for towels and heard them say they room had no towels either. I am not judging the hotel based on not having towels in the room, I know we were there on a holiday weekend, but there should have been at least 2 towels in the room, there was not even a wash cloth in the room. The bed was very uncomfortable. We had to move the microwave to another area to use because one of the outlets was broke, the fridge was plugged into the good outlet.The positives to the hotel was the friendly staff and big rooms. The rooms could use a throughly good cleaning.

I wasn't told the night before that breakfast ended at 9am. That is earlier than any other hotel I have stayed at. There were cockroaches in my room and the room looked very run down. Baseboard was peeling from the walll. Bathroom sink was in very bad condition. Shower water did not get hot. The man that checked me in was friendly. The rest of the front desk staff were not friendly at all. I was getting some water from the pitcher near the front desk and a chunk of something black came out, into my water cup.
