Everyone was very nice. The woman at the check in desk was very kind. I was traveling with my granddaughter and felt safe there. Everything was clean no bedbugs or creepy things. Would stay there again.

I liked the location. I liked the check in ease. I liked the hot tub and exercise room for my grandchildren. I didn't like that the bathroom door was only hanging on one hinge or that the room was dusty under the desk or that the balcony chair had no seat in it and the other chair and table were dirty.

Fun fact, my grandma worked here in the 70’s! I’ve been staying at this Red Lion since the 1980’s and it’s always been great. Super clean room, very nice staff, and affordable. Thank you!

Honestly this was not a great stay. After check in I walked into the room and it smelled like cigarette smoke really bad. The front desk changed rooms for us and it wasn’t much better. It didn’t have a smoke smell but was pretty dirty. Debris on the floors, the blankets were stained, toilet paper had half a roll with no back up, only 3 pillows on the bed and the refrigerator was off and spilled water all over the place. It really didn’t look like anyone did a cleaning, just re made the bed and put a couple of towels in the bathroom. The room was completely dis shoveled. We were there for my mom’s funeral and we didn’t have the energy to keep moving around. We use to stay at this property decades ago and it was pretty nice. It was really disappointing and we unfortunately will not be back.

The furnace air conditioner unit sounds like Im sitting over the wing of a 737. No sleep at all. Then i tried taking a shower and no pressure. Horrible experience and I will not stay again or recommend Red Lion at all.

First off, the front desk staff were amazing. Genuinely kind and eager to help. But, the rooms were absolutely terrible. We had two rooms and neither of the sliding glass doors were working properly. Sliding them open or closed was nearly impossible as was locking them. We chose your hotel because of the supposed easy access to the rooms since we had dogs with us. Not to mention the rocks and patio walls were dangerous to navigate. The maintenance of the hotel was clearly lacking. I drive through the area quite a bit and will never stay there again…To conclude this on a positive note I want to reiterate how great the front desk staff was.

Did not disappoint

We got stuck in Redding with car issues. This was a great place to get stuck. The staff was great. The courtyard room was really nice and quiet. The location provided many food and drink options walking distance. The hot tub was a most excellent amenity during a very cold windy stay. The bar was open one of the nights we were there and it was good service and comfortable.
