On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly and energetic, which was appreciated. The breakfast was decent. However, I would rate the hotel no higher than 6.5 overall due to cleanliness issues. The bathroom was not properly cleaned—towels had hair strands on them, and the bathtub towel appeared unwashed. The hairdryer handle was so dirty that I had to use tissue paper to hold it, and the bathroom floor was not cleaned thoroughly. I would not recommend this motel to anyone who values hygiene.

Comfortable stay
Check in and check out was easy, front desk folks were nice and friendly. Hotel was quiet, and breakfast was also good. My only issue in the room was hot tap water was really hot, and cold tap water was also pretty warm for some reason, both in the shower and bathroom sink. Coldest shower water I could get was borderline uncomfortably hot for me.

A good location for me close to Lake & Market, on Market St. with adequate parking. Within walking distance to Sundial Bridge and Turtle Park. The room with kitchen facilties was very useful, as was the aircon-heater. Room servicing was quite regular, though I kept the DND sign on the door each morning due to jetlag. An in-room mini safe would have made it perfect. Overall it was good value for money.

The room we stated in was DATED to the point that paint was used to cover up old issues. Cupboard doors were loose to the point i did not want to open them incase they came off. Smoke detector on ceiling had a plastic bag on it? Prehaps the room was recently painted but it did not smell like paint. Bathroom fan sounded like a jet taking off. Weather stripping around door was non existent. Remote control for the tv was broken and difficult to use.

People next door to my room made so much noise I could not sleep. Loud noise until 12 midnight when I left for home. So tired I could hardly stay awake driving home!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable and room was quiet and clean. The parking lot lights are very bright and the curtains don't block the light out very well. The shower drain was clogged so kind of gross. Because we were in a roll in shower the water backing up made the whole toilet bathroom area wet. Took about 15 minutes to drain. The grounds needed some attention... General weeding, picking up trash, deadheading plants. But again...Staff was lovely and beds were comfortable, room was clean. For a place to crash on a road trip it was fine.

Nice property. Dated facilites but practical. Big rooms and enough parking. Good beds and quiet nights. We felt safe. Breakfast was good. No fruits but fresh waffles and eggs. Oatmeal, coffee, milk, cereal, yogurt, bread, tea. Employees were nice. Good for the price. We would stay again.
