do research!

I booked a handicap accessible room, the springs on the bathroom door were so tight and the door so heavy that I had trouble opening it. I had to put my suitcase in front of the door open. I went to Redding for a family emergency, I wish I had done better research, no microwave in room and they did not serve breakfast. I only picked the Win-River because of the easy directions, less traffic and proximity to the hospital. Super 8 on Churn Creek would have been cheaper and just as easy.

Win River Resort & Casino

Check in was at 3:00 pm & we arrived at 3:05. Our room was not ready. We were not able to check in until 5:00 pm. The staff was very friendly & apologetic.Even though the lobby was non smoking it smelled like cigarette smoke. We look for valets & bell service when we travel. There was no bell service & the valet was closed on Sunday.
