Dirty & Smelly

I was staying for 3 days. My room had HUGE stains on the carpet and some sticky spots. Thankfully I wear sandals around my hotel rooms when I travel. The bathroom absolutely REEKED of cigarette smoke and when I didn’t leave the bathroom door closed the smell would linger throughout my entire room. I asked to have my room changed 2 out of the 3 nights I was there and was informed they hotel was sold out and I could no be moved. When I asked if there was any additional cleaning that could be done was told “no” abruptly. With the smoke smell causing my allergies to act up I even tried wiping the bathroom down myself with glass cleaner from my truck without any luck.

Great stay though sometimes was a bit noisy over night with people talking loud outside in the parking lot, which wasn't the hotel's fault. Wonderful staff. Would stay here again.

Our room was very nice, bed was comfortable, although the bottom of the bed frame sticks out which makes shin skinner. Meaning I scraped my leg. It was hard to get into the pool and hot tub as it was pretty busy all the time by the same people. Suggestion maybe they can have time limits to help. The hot tub we manged to squeeze in noticed it was not that hot and not very jetted. Overall the place was very nice, clean and our room was very nice.

Staff was great, property was not. The vanity in the bathroom was completely smashed and laying on the bathroom floor when I arrived in the room. Itvwas clearly held together by painters tape but did not hold. Was promised maintenencewoukld fix it while I was gone a few hours. Came back late evening and whoke third floor smelled like thick cigarette smoke, and the vanity was not fixed. Asked for another room, only for the other room on another floor smelled like strong paint. Got a refund, heck with them.

While hotel is renovated, it still has an odor in the rooms and common space. Beds are comfortable and staff are helpful.

Staff was fine although the housekeeping staff didn't know where the ice machine was. The issue for me was security as I entered the lobby I was approached by a drunk man who wanted to know my name. He was lingering in the lobby and approached another woman in a similar way. The desk agent kept his eye on the man but didn't intervene. As a woman travelling alone, it did not feel good to be approached this way on arrival.
