Stayed here for a business conference. The facility was gorgeous and rooms were very quiet. Only reason why I gave it a 4 star and not 5 was because the drain in my shower could use some draino and I had to keep turning off the shower to let the water go down. The food that the hotel catered for our conference was INCREDIBLE!!

I had arrived a few hours early than check-in time, but the employee had allowed me to check-in early and I was very grateful for that. He said that it was ready to go, just needed to be inspected first and he personally went and checked on it himself before completing the check-in process. The room was clean and had the amenities I was expecting. It would have been nice to have a little foldable table to place my luggage on. I've seen them at other hotels, but simce there wasnt one, I used the loveseat. My room ended up facing the waterpark area, and you can hear the water and the gleeful children playing, but that wasn't problematic for me. I appreciated that a staff member would blow a whistle to announce the closing of the pool, and once the pool was cleared out, all was quiet. The Knotted Thistle restaurant attached to the hotel was a bonus. Food was amazing and the waitress was attentive. There was ample parking located in the back of the hotel. I was surprised to learn there wasnt a continental breakfast offered, as a lot of hotels I've stayed in offer that. There is another restaurant that offers breakfast menu items, but of course it's not free. The hotel is located right on Albert Street so it is easy to get to. The price was a little more expensive on a weekend than it is to book through the week, but I think that is common of most hotels. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I will likely return again someday.

Hotel is a little dated and not an easy layout. Pool area is great for little kids, but gets quite crowded. Lots of walkable restaurants and convenience in the area. Price is pretty steep considering there’s no breakfast included.

The only thing that I didn’t like was there was no microwave in the room. We had to go down to the restaurant to warm up my daughter’s bottles.
