Pros.. location, friendly staff, daily room cleaning Cons.. the hotel needs updating, clean rugs, welcome water coffee small snack. Somewhere to purchase snack.. booklet in rooms about the area.. Just dont get a welcome feeling when you arrive.. Meals.breakfast was horrible

35th Annual Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival
My visit to Rehoboth Beach Delaware was truly great. I attended several jazz shows. My stay in the Atlantic Sands was comfortable. I especially liked staying in the downtown area right on the boatdwalk. A lot of places to have good meals was within walking distance from the Atlantic Sands Hotel.

Great location, friendly staff, right on the boardwalk and the beach! Easy parking for sure, no mandatory valet, just park in their lot, done! Loved this place...oh and their tiki bar is right on the boardwalk with a relaxing ocean view, great drinks and shrimp tacos!! Nice getaway location for sure!

I love Sands hotel and we always go there at least once a year due to it's location BUT they should update all rooms. It's just so old.

Weekend get a way in October
The weather was amazing. The hotel was perfectly located on the boardwalk. Room was nice, spacious and clean. All staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Last night fire alarm was sounding throughout the night. Couldn’t sleep. When I mentioned it to the front desk the just said “We are sorry”. Unacceptable.

Smoke alarm went off 5 time throughout the night and into the early morning. Load wedding guests swimming in pool after pool was closed. Beds were horrible. Only thing good was Great location to Beach and boardwalk. Will never stay here again.

Another amazing weekend
As always, our stay was amazing. Front desk staff is always friendly as are all the staff you pass in the hallways. Rooms are always spotless. The view from the balcony cannot be beat. It’s great to be able to park your car & just walk around beautiful Rehobeth.

Front desk person was not exactly welcoming. Very difficult layout. Very hard to find our way around. Need to give people a layout/map of hotel. House keeping people did not speak English so could not help. But were very nice. Restaurant was the best! Beautiful bar for good breakfast overlooking the Ocean.

I checked in on a Friday Saturday morning. The air conditioner broke, which I totally understand. They put us into a new room, which is great. As I was taking a shower, my wife called my name and said come out and take a look at this. She pulled the sheets down. There were a bottle caps of beer underneath the sheets so that tells me the sheets were never changed. I went down to the office and told him and the gentleman was accusing me of lying until I showed him pictures. Someone came and changed the sheets. I will never go back to that place again and I will let everyone know on Facebook how it all went down.

Quick and easy check in. The mattress was older model/style. The mini fridge made very loud noises the entire time. It took several hours for the room to heat up.
