Great location. Easy parking right at the door. Spacious rooms. Full size fridge. Only downside is the room needs to be painted. Walls and trim were old and beat up. 2 light bulbs were out.

We were in a room on the bottom floor and could hear the people above us late at night and anywhere from 4-6 in the morning. No courtesy. Also the pool was very dirty.

Worst desk clerk!

Worst front desk service I've ever seen. Walked up to door to check in and there was a sign saying that we had to go next door to the EconoLodge to check in, drove there and was told that was only at night and that the sign wasn't supposed to be there during the day. Drove back to Rodeway. Read sign again. Nothing about night time check in. Walked in and the desk clerk was sitting where he could see that I had already walked up. I told him about the sign and that I went to the other hotel. No apology. Just asked for my reservation name. Have me my key card and told me the room number. That was it! I asked which building it was in and he just pointed. We went to the room and there were workers inside doing renovation work! Went back and told the clerk. He gave me another room (no Apology!!). Went to that room and give minutes later a bug exterminator opened the locked door. Said he was l scheduled to spray the room but at least he was the first person to Apologize for all this nonsense! Room was crap and over priced, but kind of expected that for this Area. It was the desk clerk that made this an very frustrating stay.

Family vacation

Stayed for a family vacation. 2 adults and 2 teenage daughters. We had enough room in the 2 bedroom suite. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful.

A last minute beach trip on a busy summer weekend left us with few choices in our price range. we expected basic accommodations, but thought the Rodeway franchise would have some minimum standards. The door did not have a working deadbolt or a safety latch on the top. No emergency exit maps... Not even hangers.
No latch on door, exitaps, or legal documents. door jam cracked.
Door jam split, no dead bolt or safety latch.
Someone must have left a dog shut in bathroom.

This property grounds was not clean overall. It was so bad we checked in at 3pm on a Thursday and checked out at 8:30 pm the same day. We were supposed to stay until Sunday morningšŸ˜. It was TERRIBLE!!!

The maintenance guy was really kind and friendly but he was really the only one. The 2 gentleman that checked us in were awful. Just awful. They did not tell us how to get to our room (in the middle of the corridor) and when I went back, because we couldnā€™t find the room, the guy was irritated with ME! Then when we got to our room and the ac unit was not working. The guy at the front desk literally sighed at me and then took at least 20 minutes to come take a look. When he got to the room he argued with me about whether it was working or not. I tried turning it all the way down to 60 and it was 75/80 at best. The maintenance guy was great, & said it was an old unit in need of repair, and we should go to another room. We went down to the front desk to get the key cards for the new room and the guy barely acknowledged our presence. I have NEVER switched rooms in my life and although I hated being a bother I was not about to spend 3 days sweating my butt off. We switched our stuff to the new room and realized immediately that the lock was ripped off of the door frame. Itā€™s hard not to feel like this was intentional as there were at least 3 rooms in between that were open and exactly the same. I put a chair up against the door to try to feel a little bit more secure as it was only my daughter and I. On top of everything else the cleanliness was severely lacking and the WiFi was spotty at best. Needless to say the Rodeway is the ONLY place that I will NEVER stay at again.

I don't even know where to start. The missing paint on the door and cracked peephole should have been the first indication. The room didn't even look like it was cleaned before we checked in. The couch cushions were flipped over because of the white stains (I can only guess what those where), visible fingerprintson services, the kitchen countertop was stained and had a large chipped out piece, the carpet was disgusting with white stains, no one went barefoot EVER. It was questionable if the bedding had even been changed. Horrendous isn't a strong enough word to describe the bathroom. Mold in the shower, on the shower curtain, crack in the wall, hair on the wall, dirty mirror, and a leftover hoodie on the back of the door. Only positive was the toliet paper and the towels smelled like bleach, but we still used our own. Even after I scrubbed the tub before showers, we all showered with our flip flops on. The walls were stained with dirt marks and god knows whatelse. The ac unit in the front room worked. Ac unit in the backroom not so much and had juice stains and dried gum on it. The porch area was as equally gorgeous. There was leftover trash outside, dirty old wet socks, and even throw up in the grass. Gnats in every room!! We did call and ask for new sheets, which they provided, they spelled like bleach, so we put them over top of all the beds and slept on them. If we could have found another hotel we would have left.
