Great location. Room definitely needs updating, though its obvious some improvements have been done (shower, air conditioner, bedding). Bed was comfortable. Floor was very dirty, had to keep shoes on at all times. Great refrigerator, kept our beverages very cold! Overall, we think we will find somewhere else to stay on our next visit to Dewey Beach.

Not great

Our room was not the luxury hotel room advertised. The bathroom was ridiculously small. The pocket door did not lock and was extremely hard to open and close. There was a mystery stain on the couch. The shower and sink filled with water and needed to be snaked.

Overall property is fine for a quick get away near the beach . Easy access to things for families. Having hot water on demand daily was an issue and bathrooms have no ventilation. Views were amazing !

Hotel was great. We normally stay closer to Rehoboth boardwalk but this place was great. It’s a little quieter with great access to restaurants and the beach. The man at the desk was super friendly and accommodating. The beach is right beside the hotel door and they often have movie and bonfire nights. The Rehoboth boardwalk is only a 5 min. Drive away. Great location and great staff. Very big rooms and very clean.

Great location and stayed in a partial ocean view room. It was much larger than our other families room that was ocean front. The kitchenette and full size fridge was helpful to have for a multi-night stay. The room and hotel areas were clean. Constantly saw staff cleaning the pool, hallways, and rooms. All staff that we encountered were all friendly as well! Would stay here again.

This was our first visit and we were very happy with the accommodations and plan to return next year. The oceanfront view from the large picture windows was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, the room layout was very efficient and having a pool was a great bonus for the kids. The only reason for the 4 rating for the facility was because the sliding bathroom door did not shut completely lacking privacy. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Older property- our room smelled musty, the floor felt sandy, the toilet seat was worn bare and the bed smelled like a child pee’d on the mattress. The extra blankets in the closet for use on the pull out bed had many long hairs on them- clearly hadn’t been laundered.

Great location and room, awful bathroom

I’d give this room a 10 and the bathroom a 2. The room is huge with a great view, comfortable bed, full kitchen, plenty of space for our family of three. The bathroom was clean, but tiny with no storage for all the stuff that goes on a bathroom vanity. The biggest problem, and the easiest to fix, was the towels. These were the most threadbare towels with loose threads and actual holes in them, you would turn them into rags at your own house. Surely buying new towels would not be much of an expense and would vastly improve the guest experience. The shower was clean but small, cheaply made and not enough water pressure to get sand out of my thick hair. This is not the hotel’s fault but it had not occurred to me there wouldn’t be an elevator, or to ask for a room on a low floor because of no elevator and three flights of steep steps. So be aware of steps are not your friend. The parking situation was a little confusing but we could always find a spot in the overflow parking a short way up the street.

Nice place and well maintained. Convenient location to beach and town of Dewey. Free parking was great. Room was clean. Upon arrival we had only 2 towels, one roll of toilet paper, and no soap was empty. It was brought to our room promptly. Key entry stopped working on second day and could not access our room for about an hour while they fixed it. Overall, nice place in a fun town.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was closed and convenient. The price was excellent for an oceanfront room. Note, there is no balcony but there is a small sliding window so you could hear the ocean at night while you’re sleeping if you want. Unless you call for maid service, you don’t get any. However if you leave dirty towels outside your door, they will put clean ones out there in a plastic bag. We ran low on toilet paper and had to go down to the office to get some. A lot of places are like this since Covid. All employees were very friendly and helpful though. The pool is nice, on the small side, but there weren’t many people in it when we were there. It was cool and refreshing. I would definitely return.

We liked the location of the property to the beach and places to dine, the size of the room and the pool. We did not like that 1/3 of our “ocean view” was a window with so much moisture in it, you couldn’t see through it (happened to be the center window). Cleanliness was just okay because of cobwebs in the ceiling light fixtures, small flies and an overall stickiness to the furniture.
