Friendly staffs accommodated my requests

Staff were friendly and we had shops and restaurants closer to the hotel

Lovely rooms, staff and food! Rooftop bar and pool are particularly nice

My travel agent had originally booked me a hotel inland, but I couldn’t visit Sri Lanka’s coastline without spending a night by the beach. I found this hotel on Hotels.com, and I’m so glad I did! The location ( right on a quiet, scenic stretch of beach) was peaceful and beautiful. Most of the time, I had the beach almost entirely to myself. The room was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The pool was lovely too, but honestly, the beachside area was just too perfect not to spend all my time there. Although I’m usually not a “massage person,” I have to say their therapist, Sharanga, was exceptional. It was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I highly recommend booking a full body massage with her! The food was delicious, and the staff couldn’t have been kinder or more welcoming. On my last day, they even invited me to take part in a Christmas cake mixing ceremony, such a thoughtful and joyful experience. It was a beautiful way to end my time in Sri Lanka.

We had such a lovely stay at Havelock Bungalow! The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The bungalow itself is beautiful, full of character and very well looked after, with such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the level of care and hospitality really made our stay special. A special mention has to go to Gini Restaurant – the food was absolutely outstanding. Easily one of the highlights of our stay and genuinely a 10/10 experience. Everything we tried was delicious, beautifully presented and full of flavour, and the service was just as wonderful. We felt so well looked after throughout our visit and would happily stay again. A wonderful place with even more wonderful people – highly recommended!

It was a very well kept property perfect for a family trip and extremely attentive staff. Highly recommend it.
