Very dirty, kind staff, problematic other guests
The staff are really trying. They are good people and they will try to help within their means.
But the bottom line is that this place is very dirty. There is fur and hair everywhere. Every piece of furniture has major stains (think like possible bio hazard like poop, or old drink spills), tears, or even burns. I carefully inspected for bedbugs but I didn’t find any, and I didn’t get any bites. The room had definitely been smoked in sometime before. Pot, I think. They tried to clean and cover it as best they could. I opened the window and had max fan to try to air out the cleaner smell. Leave nothing visible in your vehicle, there are prowlers. There do appear to be guests living here. They have split some of the rooms to make more rooms, and the door between them (locked- but possible security issue) has poor sound insulation. You will hear the TV all night long.
I hate leaving a bad review when the staff were trying so hard, and were so kind. The staff said they’ve seen a surge in bad guests damaging and stealing their furniture, smoking in rooms, bringing illegal pets, and generally being unruly. I suspect they don’t have the funds to replace the damaged furniture or do the substantial cleanup after a bad guest. It is not their fault but it is now their problem. I have empathy towards their situation, but will choose somewhere else next time.
