Nice hotel, but room A/C a bit weak.

We received a free upgrade upon check-in which was a nice touch. Room was newly renovated, but the hallway was still under construction. (Signs were posted apologizing for the work. There was no construction noise.) Our only complaint was the lackluster A/C in the room. Never really cooled down as much as we'd hoped. No cigarette smoke smell in the room, hallways or restaurant we visited. Yep, majority of casino smelled of smoke.

I ordered the chicken fried steak at the Blue Parrot and it was horrible, there wasn’t any meat only fried breading. The manager was very helpful and took the dinner off the bill since I couldn’t eat it. Most employees were very friendly and polite.

The room was large and very nice. Unfortunately it had no real view out the windows as it overlooked the indoor swimming pool. Also outside the windows were two glass elevators running 24 hrs. So you couldn’t really leave the curtains open anyway. It was too much hassle to pack everything up and move, so we stayed put. But didn’t like it. For someone who isn’t bothered by dark and noise it would be ok?

Great resort, lots of amenities and enjoyed the pool. The deli was really good. Staff were friendly and helpful. I booked a king premier room but none were available by the time I checked in. The double queen room was nice and I enjoyed the view of downtown. Overall I enjoyed my stay!

This place is designed for you to stay on the property, eat in their restaurants, use their facilities, but mostly gamble in their casino. What bothered me the most was the smell of cigarettes throughout the entire first floor, including the restaurants located there. I ate a Red Bloom, and the food was ok, but it isn't actually walled off from the casino floor, so it's loud and distracting with its own music, music from the floor and then the constant bells from the machines. And the pervasive smoke smell throughout. My room was great, though- not at all smoky, and very nice. Service was good.Great value also for the room.
