Value stay

This is a value stay. The building is old and the rooms are on the smaller side. The staff was lovely and it was clean. They don’t have an airport shuttle and the ride each way is about $30 so if you’re looking to cut costs factor that in. Otherwise it was fine.

My son stayed for work travel and stayed 2 separate weeks and had no television service both times. I was disappointed to hear this afternoon spending over $275 plus deposit a week.

Not bad for price but will never stay again

Very old furniture, patterns and decor. Building appears to be falling apart, water stains on ceiling tiles (outside of rooms), musty smell in hallways (even had a air purifier plugged in our hallway), mold in bathroom, some plugs in room did not work.

Stay away.....

This hotel seems like it's located in a suspect location. There are several homeless / vagrants hanging outside the entrance of the hotel at all times of the day and night. The hotel itself is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms are old and decrepit, and have a nasty smell. For the price you pay here, just pay a few more bucks and stay at one of the major casinos, ie GSR , Atlantis, or Golden Nugget. I will not be visiting the Ramada any time again.

Wow, does it get any worse ?

If you like Truck stop hookers, aggressive pimps and sharing an elevator with recently released convicts then boy do we have a place for you. Head to the Ramada in Reno and if you are lucky enough to Survive walking from your car to the lobby you will be greeted by a nice team of check in staff who are risking their lives just to make ends meet. These folks should be getting danger money. After grabbing a key head to the elevator that you will no doubt share with a guy (or guys) with clenched fists and tear drop face tattoos. Make sure you stay frosty as there’s a good chance you may need to fight in a very confined space. In the unlikely event that you make it to your room your feet will be sticking to the carpet with the remains of the last crime that went on in there still present. Sit back and relax on your bed while admiring the fist sized punch holes in the walls, or take a look out the window at the expansive parking lot and admire the ladies of the night business. Ps. This is in no way a reflection on the staff, as they were all very nice.

The signage referenced no loitering, soliciting and panhandling and all were occurring. If this is such an issue they should have security onsite. Only had 1 bellhop cart so we had to make multiple trips to get our belongings to our room. Our room had holes in the carpet and the flooring felt squishy under the carpet like water damaged had occurred. Smelled like smoke in the hallways which made my eyes water. They would not allow for late check-out.

They need to improve; updates this doesn’t look like Ramada’s I’ve seen before. Outside curb appeal; Inside updates with full vending availability; another dining option too! Staff need customer service classes- although they were nice overall- they need professional customer service orientation.
