Very clean hotel with very polite staff. Nice and central in Reykjavík bus stop nearby and parking garage within walking distance not to be rude, but the breakfast looks very underwhelming for the price so we skipped it.

Quite pleased with my stay at the Alda. Very professional and courteous staff . My room had a balcony so I could walk out and enjoy the views and the weather. Enjoyed having enough space to spread my gear out and get organized. Breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. The hotel is in part of the main tourist and shopping area so it is very walkable to most all destinations. Definitely would recommend.

Very nice overall. Great rainfall shower. Front desk staff should have been willing to notify when room was ready even if requesting early check-in. Not ok to suggest that I come back every hour to find out. I'd recommend for location and vibe.

street noise from partiers late at night quite considerable. walls are very thin, same from above - you can hear every step they take, also, when room neighbors' close their doors hard, the walls shake noticeably bathroom quite small with ridiculously small sink. great location - parking is on street, wherever you can find a spot. get a parking app so you can pay without being at the car.
