What are amazing apartment hotel! Great staff! The room exceeded expectations and housekeeping was excellent. Highly recommend. Centrally located and close to everything.The Nespresso machine was appreciated and used in abundance. The apartment also had plenty of supplies for the kitchen and bathroom.

We stayed one night and had a fantastic experience. Pros: - Location is quite convenient to the main tourist area while not being too noisy in the evening - Noise and light insulation quite good, windows open but also close easily, and the blackout curtains worked very well (quite necessary in late May!) - Apartment was sparkling clean, including all glasses and dishware (for once I didn't have to rewash anything) - Kitchen was fully stocked, including salt and pepper - Receptionist was extremely helpful, showing us to our apartment and introducing us to some basics, as well as providing some nearby restaurant recommendations (can recommend Fjallkonan; expensive but good) Cons: - My husband found it too hot to sleep comfortably at night (low 20s/70s); it was much cooler outside, but we wanted to keep the windows closed for the noise - The shower design does nothing to keep the whole bathroom from getting splashed and steamy

The Black Pearl Luxury Apts is a great stay!

This stay was perfect. The apartment had every convenience, it was immaculately clean, and the location was perfect in the center of Reykjavik. They offered indoor parking. The staff was friendly and accommodating with 24 hour concierge services. I highly recommend this stay to anyone traveling to Iceland.

A very elegantly arranged apartment with absolutely everything you may need (complimentary chocolates, teapot and tea bags, as well as an intelligently stocked refrigerator). Comfortable and homey space for the price of or cheaper than a standard hotel room. Cannot recommend enough!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Black Pearl. We came in very early in the morning and reception staff escorted us immediately to our apartment, explaining its features clearly. It is quiet and extremely clean, and like all of Reykjavik, very safe for tourists. It is located a short walk from excellent restaurants, coffee shops, a great art museum, and the harbor front. I'd say it was about a 5-7 minute walk to the middle of downtown. It's also a quick walk to the pick up points for day tours as well (Bus Stop 4 and 15 are particularly close, but Bus Stop 5 is also close.) Kitchen is well-stocked with sharp knives, pans, and other stuff for cooking and serving meals, should you want a break from restaurant cuisine. Balcony does not overlook water but is a pleasant space for lingering over drinks. We'll book this again on our next trip to Iceland.

Last minute booking

My family had to leave Husavik a day early to avoid a snow storm and booked here last minute since we needed somewhere to stay but we were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful this facility is. Walking distance to everything downtown, spacious accommodations.
